In the summer of 2024, I was lying in a bed in Illinois thinking about the presidential election in America. I wished I could just leave. Go to Europe. Or, England. Or, Africa. Then, the teen age boy that lives inside me says, “Why can’t you?” I bought a plane ticket and opened the door to a new way of living. Boss Kitty had gone to heaven and Tilly and Hans had bravely van camped their way across America but they were done with travel. International and Domestic. So, they live in Ohio. With Doob. I started this blog back then with random, half assed attention. I have ended up traveling with a backpack and a neck roll full of clothes but collect beautiful journals and sketch books and art supplies. So, I am committing to filling these empty blog posts with photos and stories that can live in a cloud. And, I won’t have to carry them.
