Bisbee, Arizona

I pulled out my sketch pad with a new resolution. I will only draw small images on these A5 size papers from WHSmith in England. It’s about 6″X8″ in my estimation.

I am challenging myself to using these sheets for drawing and a commitment to not censoring my creative expression with prejudice or excessive thinking.

Then, I remembered my other desire to use this electronic space so that I don’t have to carry the paper around. So, I am here.

I drew the two pictures last night in the same sitting. I am struck that I have no cohesive style that I could define. That is why I want to commit myself to letting the pictures paint themselves.

The new year is coming soon and there is still so much to enjoy in 2025.
